Staunton State Park is a relatively short drive from the front range and has great hiking trails, rock climbing and mountain biking. It's one of Katie and Tomo's go-to mountain biking destinations!

Downtown Golden is a must visit destination in the front range! Washington Ave has a great selection of local shops, restaurants, and there are several good breweries nearby (our favorite is Golden City Brewery, just a block from Katie's). You can also tour the Coor's Brewery if you're so inspired!

Located a short distance from Idaho Springs, Colorado, this hike to Saint Mary’s Glacier offers spectacular views and the chance to visit a beautiful alpine lake and glacier. Summer is a great time to visit the glacier. The snow-covered landscape during the winter also makes for some amazing views at the top.

The Peak to Peak highway is a gorgeous drive not far from Golden and Golden Gate State Park.
